I have written some patches for 0.99.9 release of gtk+. They do the
following:

  - more keyboard support for gtkentry widget.
(are there plans for gtk+ to support the clipboard,
it is needed for the ^XCV and ^Ins/Del/S-Ins keys).
  - keyboard support for gtkscale widget (and some for gtkscrollbar).
(unfinished, I need to add something to show the focus).

Do I send the patches to you?

I plan to do these sometime in the future:
  - keyboard support for switching tabs in the notebook.
(any ideas how to do this?).

  - keyboard support for the menus. There does not seem to be any
    at this time.

  - other keyboard stuff (I'd like gtk to be usable without the mouse
when possible -- see my sig ;-)

Is anybody else working on keyboard support issues?

Are there any plans to speed up the resizing of dialogs. This
is kind of slow sometimes when used with OpaqueResize mode of my
window manager.

Other than that, excellent work.
