Hello all,
How does one distinguish between different syllables in Indic scripts like Devanagari?
In English, as far as I know , the pronunciation of a word helps us in determining if it is a monosyllable, disyllable or polysyllable word.
According to this page (https://www.microsoft.com/typography/otfntdev/devanot/shaping.aspx),
Only one reph is allowed per syllable |
I need to understand what this exactly means.
Thanks and regards,
