Hi,

you say that you can/should run gtk-doc on the build side, and I fail to
understand what makes you think so.

In particular, AFAIK gtkdoc-scangobj must compile and run a program to
introspect the hierarchy, and I don't see how this can be possible if
you are on the build side. Maybe you can workaround that, but I'm pretty
sure it is as straightforward as you seem to think.

I double John's suggestion: build on the host and copy the result.
