Please see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121113 for the old
"share single-click settings" bug. There is a branch where I ported
Christian Neumair's patches, but they were not fully tested. That
branch has three commits:
1. Add a GtkSetting - this is obsolete; you should use GSettings from
the beginning.
2. Add single-click activation mode to GtkTreeView. I'm not sure if the
patch still applies to the current code, but the patch is reasonably
clear in case it needs redoing.
3. Plug this into the file chooser. It has some fancy code to change
the cursor to a hand when appropriate; this will need updating.
Finally, give this some good testing. The file chooser has many modes
(open, save, single-selection, multiple selection, select files, select
folders) and it's not always obvious is the same behavior is the best
for each mode.
