tests for glib

So I had to cross-compile glib for our ARM environment.. it seems to
work fine.  But I'm hoping I have some way of testing.

Does glib have some white box tests?  I noticed a folder "tests" in
the source code tarball.  How do I compile and use the tests?  Or is
there some better way?
