You have posted to the wrong mailing list. This list is for discussion
about development of GTK+ itself. You should have used
gtk-app-devel-list for your question.
Nobody can help you unless you first understand that "Visual C++" is
just the name of the compiler you are using. The programming language
you are trying to use is called just "C".
There are lots of sample code for showing images. Download the GTK+
sources and have a look in the demos/gtk-demo folder, for instance.
