Imagine: what if points in Bugzilla had a significant effect?

Imagine: what if points did something in Bugzilla, like, the more points
you have, the more votes you get?

I think this would encourage people to file more bug reports, both good
bug reports and not-so-good ones. Would that be a net gain or a net loss
for GTK+?
