GdkPixbuf is not the place where this can be implemented.
Just few short notes:
- My code rotating 100x100 image 30 fps takes ~25% CPU (celeron-600)
- I was thinking about some 360 degrees maneuver when icon returns back...
Must be pretty nice :-) If I'll have time to hack on gnome-panel, I'll
do this...
- Automaticly turn off any fancy animations when processor usage high?
only do it if USE_EXPENSIVE_ANIMATIONS is set to 1 in environment?
