I think gdk_pixbuf_loader_new_with_type() is in gnome 1. It also
breaks gdk_pixbuf_save() but that's new in GTK 2 so not a huge deal.

We could probably just have new_with_type() accept the old-style
strings in addition to a real MIME type, but document that MIME types
should be used, and then use only MIME types with new API and
gdk_pixbuf_save.
