setlocale & gtk

Hi all,

Recently I have ran into a problem with locale settings.

1. I need my application to have disabled locale settings. This is mainly
for the number representation.
2. If I call gtk_disable_setlocale () then I will not get a modification
time and date in a filechooser dialog.

Is there a way how to get around this?
