Re: glib and Xlib

Hi,

I don't entirely understand your question. GLib and Xlib aren't really comparable.

GLib is a utility library that adds hash tables, lists, IO abstraction, platform abstraction and also an object system used by GTK +.

If I misunderstood, could you please elaborate a bit on what you meant?

Cheers,

Hello;

What is glib adding that the GTK + compared to Xlib ?

All what is possible with glib with Xlib is feasible, then why create a new library.

Best regards.
