link beetwen DataColumn and TreeViewColumn ?

Hi,

I wanted to ask how do you find the link beetween a gtkTreeViewColumn and
the DataColumn it is displaying?
I work in java gnome but I think I could learn from your answers. In java
you call a function addAttributeMapping,
to make the link but after that I think it's impossible to find which
treeViewColumn was associated with which DataColumn
