Rotate Widgets???

I have an application where i'll need to rotate widgets by 90 degrees. Is there a default way of doing this 
in GTK. I was looking some of the documentation and didn't come across anything that gave me the impression 
of being able to accomplish it. Has anybody ever come across this before.
