i am working on a platform indepenent app now. write the code and get
something small working, then test it on each platform. dont write a
large amount of code then test it, you wont know where the problem is.
and use a cvs system or something. i dont but do make alot of backup
copies after i get something working. and i take that tarball to
different system. so far, so good. exception is i havent done this on
windows - i dont have it and its useless. also i dont recall gtk 2.0 for
mac ?? 1.2 works but buggy and hasnt been updated
correct me if i am wrong, i myself am still a newbie.....

This is not yet as serious a question as it looks.
I'm now back to writing my first ever gtk app again after a break.
I'm using gtk (natch), portAudio, and fftw. The program is being written
on Linux but I hope that it will be ported to windows (and possibly Mac)
at a later date.
How much difficulty am I likely to have when I get around to porting it?
a) None!
b) No more than a little
c) A considerable amount of work
d) The project from hell
e) Impossible
Cheers,
Ross-c
