List,
I realize gtk+ binaries are available for win32. Does this imply that
binaries are compatible with only MSVC?
Are binaries available, which are compatible with MinGW, or even Open
Watcom?
The binaries are built with and compatible with MSVC. Because they are
straight C (not C++), they also work as-is with MinGW. Since no
mangling is involved, and they are standard DLLs, MinGW-generated DLLs
should also work with MSVC. I imagine that Open Watcom should be able
to build GTK apps with the distributed GTK+ DLLs just fine.
