gtk_notebook_remove_page

Hello - yes another newbie question ( sorry )

1) create some widgets
2) gtk_notebook_append_page
3) gtk_notebook_set_current_page
4) user closes tab
5) gtk_notebook_remove_page

Will step 5 also take care of releasing/destroying all
the resources allocated by step 1) or is it up to me
to destroy all the child widgets contained within each
tab in the notebook?
