GtkComboBox(Entry) questions

Hello, 

in the progress of porting to GtkComboBoxEntry the following things
are not clear to me:

+ Is the "changed" signal (supposed to be) fired when text is entered
via keyboard and confirmed with <enter>?
+ Is is possible (without hooking internals) to to get notification
about keystrokes on the embedded GtkEntry? I would like to
enable/disable controls ("Find" button) depending on whether i have
something in the entry.
