Hi Anne!

} link called 'Image Processing with GTK' will be
helpful in your quest while using PixBufs.

I think to increase the brightness of an image, you
have to change RGB->YUV/HSV. Please lookup some texts
on image processing like AK Jain or Gonzalez etc.
