How to get started with c# and gtk programming

hi there...

i love gnome and i want to start programming my own gnome 2 apps :-)
are there any good tutorials on the web how to get started?
maybe mono too, looks quite good.
i've got anjuta as an editor here.

i've only minimal knowledge of programming. i had some vb and vb.net at
school and i make some html and php.
