button text shadow

In GTK 2.2.4 under IceWM with the Infadel 2 theme, buttons set
insensitive, i.e., via
gtk_widget_set_sensitive(m_pButton, FALSE);
get a white drop shadow on their text, i.e., the text looks like it's
indented into the screen. Buttons that are sensitive get no shadow. How
is this controlled? It's not something we did on purpose.
