Hi all,
I just discovered gdk_window_get_root_origin () seems to return 0 for x
and y on Windows with GTK 2.4.9. Last time it was working for me was
GTK 2.4.7.
Any ideas why? Has something changed in this area recently?
Why not look at the ChangeLog? It will have references to the
relevant bug reports and discussions.
I did have a brief look through ViewCVS but couldn't see anything
obvious.
Looking at the ChangeLog the problem may have come from this bug fix:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148526
The commit was on the 22nd of August by Tor.
If I use gdk_window_get_position () it works fine and
gdk_window_get_root_origin () works fine under FC2 (but I am using GTK
2.4.0).
If there was regression in the win32 port, create a small simple
test case, and put it in bugzilla.
I have opened a new bug for this here:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152481
Thanks Owen,
