Hello all. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post an issue I'm having with gtk+ on windows, gaim, and the gimp, but I thought the developers of those applications might be on this list, and I've seen tml post here every so often. Here's the problem: I currently have "gtk+ 2.2.4 rev b" installed in windows, which is the version that came with Gaim 0.75. It works perfectly most of the time. I tried to install the gimp 2.0-pre4, but its installer told me I needed to install "gtk+ 2.2.4-20040124" first. After I installed that, the gimp installed properly but gaim stopped working. Reinstalling "gtk+ 2.2.4 rev b" fixed gaim but broke the gimp. The folks in #gimp on irc.gimp.org told me that this was definitely a bug, but didn't know if I should report it to: *the gtk+ maintainers, *the gtk+ for windows maintainer, *whoever packages gtk+ for windows for Gaim, *or whoever packages gtk+ for windows for the Gimp. If you know how to solve this conflict or who I should inform about it, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks, Eric P.S. Just tried again with more updated software. Gaim 0.77 (which comes with "gtk+ 2.2.4 rev c") and the gimp 2.0.1 have the same problem.
