Hi, In vim-gtk on debian, F10 activates the gui menus. Is this hardcoded in to gtk?
Yes
Can it be disabled?
Yes, tracking programatically the F10 key press event, and avoiding such action, but as in most apps it will be this way - F10 will focus the menu bar - you're running agains usability and the HIG, if you do it. Most users expect the F10 key to launch the first menu in the menu bar. Please check this, before take any action: http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/1.0/userinput.html#widget-navigation -- Iago Rubio http://www.iagorubio.com GPGkey pgp.rediris.es id 0x909BD4DD fingerprint = D18A B950 5F03 BB9A DD89 AA75 FEDF 1978 909B D4DD ********** iago.rubio(AT)hispalinux.es ********** --------------------------------------------------
