Help me please with GtkTextView

GTK 2.x
I use GtkTextView in my project.
I have a problem with text wrapping.
When I set GTK_WRAP_WORD and input the whole string which is longer then
GtkTextView width - the width of this widget is increasing. So the width of
the window increasing too.
But I use this widget for the text editor as a one page.
So the size of this page must be constant.

Tell me please how I must use this widget to keep it size constantly.
