Font requirements

Hi,

I'm working on some localization projects for our software (written in 
GTK) and one of the languages that we will support is Sinhala.  Right 
now they are developing a unicode representation for their character 
set.  What should I ask them for, in terms of Win32 and Linux fonts, for 
their script to work in a GTK app?
