Text formatting in a GtkTreeView

I want an item in my tree view to have a bold font. How do I do this? I 
tried setting the text to be <b>...</b>, but Pango markup doesn't seem 
to work (I just get the tags in the text).

Do I have to turn on Pango markup for the widget somehow? Or should I do 
something else entirely?

I'm trying to do the same thing as Rhythmbox does with it's "All" entry 
  in the list of albums (screeny: 
http://www.rhythmbox.org/screenshots/Screenshot-Rhythmbox.png).
