tearoff popupmenu

Hi,

I search a way to create a *popup* menu with gtk2 oder gnome2-libs that
could be teared off.

First I created a GtkMenu with gtk2 and saw there is no "tearoff line"
at top of the popup menu. There is only the function
gtk_menu_get_tearoff_state () to do it.

Then I tried gnome2 and gnome_popup_menu_do_popup () to create a menu.
But there is also no "tearoff" line at top of the popup menu.

Is it not possible to have tearoff popup menus or am I doing something
wrong?

Please give me some tips or example code.

And yes, I activated this function for gnome2 and I could tear off the
menus in gedit for example. ;-)
