Re: pkg-config package name for gtk-2.2.0

Because 2.2 is compatible with 2.0, so the program you write with 2.0
will look just as the original when you link with 2.2

Hi!

Just upgraded from 2.0.0 to 2.2.0 and have a clarification

when specifying pkg-config parameters is it correct to use gtk-2.0
rather than gtk-2.2. When gtk-2.2 is specified it does not work.

So I am hoping the right includes/libraries are used after compiling.
My application looks the same as the old one (2.0) after compiling few
colour changes? or theme effects? are noticeable. I am assuming they are
from 2.2.

Thanks for you time.
