pkg-config package name for gtk-2.2.0

Hi!

Just upgraded from 2.0.0 to 2.2.0 and have a clarification

when specifying pkg-config parameters is it correct to use gtk-2.0
rather than gtk-2.2. When gtk-2.2 is specified it does not work.

So I am hoping the right includes/libraries are used after compiling.
My application looks the same as the old one (2.0) after compiling few
colour changes? or theme effects? are noticeable. I am assuming they are
from 2.2.
