To me it sounds like the setup I got is pretty fast.
On my sytem, a AMD K6-2 350 with 320MB Ram I fill a Treeview widget with 1100
lines in 53 seconds.
The Treeview widget has a total of 381 columns. 54 of them are visible, the
others are used to setup colors and other data(7 columns).
If that seems fast to the people worried about this I can post a link to where
I can put some code from my current project.
