Maybe glib does not work on Christmas day ?? (LOL).
:-)
No , serious - I tested both dates and they both returned "ok". Any more dates
for me to try on ?
ok. it seems to be a joke, but it is not :-) I've tried with some other
dates and I have the following result:
----------
date: Wed, 02 Jan 2003 is ok
date: Fri, 10 Otc 2003 is ok
date: Sat, 06 Dec 2003 is ok
date: Fri, 05 Dec 2003 is ok
date: Wed, 10 Dec 2003 is ok
date: Thu, 11 Dec 2003 is ok
date: Fri, 12 Dec 2003 is ok
date: Sat, 13 Dec 2003 is bad
date: Mon, 15 Dec 2003 is bad
date: Tue, 16 Dec 2003 is bad
date: Tue, 23 Dec 2003 is bad
date: Wed, 24 Dec 2003 is bad
date: Thu, 25 Dec 2003 is bad
date: Fri, 26 Dec 2003 is bad
date: Sat, 27 Dec 2003 is bad
date: Wed, 31 Dec 2003 is bad
date: Sat, 01 Jan 2004 is ok
----------
I found the problem: it comes from locales. my locales are
"fr_FR.ISO-8859-1". when I set them to "en_US" all dates are ok :-) when
I try with "fr_FR" I have wrong dates too.
sorry, it seems there is a bug in glib :-(
I have a glib 2.2.3 debian unstable version if it can help.
bye
