Hi!If you like to use C++ I would take a look at gtkmm <www.gtkmm.org>, a C++-implementation of GTK which is easier to use for people who are used to wirk in C++.
An other interesting thing might be wxwindows because this toolkit can be used in Win32 and in Linux with native look and feel. It is in C++ and uses GTK internally for Linux.
