[gtk2:entry] how to remove cursor in an entry

Hello,

I am using a combo box and I want the user to choose only the options I 
put in the list. I set the entry non editable (via gtk_editable), but the 
blinking cursor remains.

 Is there any way to remove this useless (in my case...) cursor (I've 
search in the API and in the mailing list without success)
