retrieving and modifying children of a GtkTable

Hello,

I want to modify the settings and attributes of some entry-boxes, which
are placed in a GtkTable. 
I tried to do that about the internal GList, which is made by the Table,
but did not find a valuable solution for it.
How can I modify widgets (children) of a table by using an external
callback?
