Gtk 1.2 dialog question

G'Day !

I need to retrieve a list of data from a dialog box.  This list of data is
of an arbitrary number of items.

I am trying to pass an empty list to the dialog to hold the data, but I
keep getting SEGFAULTS.

Any ideas how to do this ?
