 Glade has hooks to add custom widget.

 As far as libs, you can add as many libraries as yout want. You will have to
manually edit the configure.in file to make sure you add the libraries to the
compiler path. Namely, you will have the add the library path to LIBS
environment variable on configure.in or Makefile.am
