Gtk::Text

Hi,

shouldn't the Gtk::Text::set_point set the cadrige cursor
imediately at the index position when I do:

(...)

text->set_point(1);

and text->get_length() is grater then 10 i.e. ??

When I do this the cursor position isn't changing to "1", why?? What I do wrong?? Or is 
it simply the bug? :)
