scrollbars and wheel mice

Hi,
How can I get a text box in a scrolled window to work with a
wheel mouse WITHOUT the scrollbars being visible. When I hide
them the wheel scrolling function doesn't seem to work. I want
the scrollbars invisible for aesthetic reasons!
