Does anybody know if embedded GTK+, beta or any version, is in CVS and if so
how to check it out???
Yes, the devel version of GTK for Linux framebuffer is in the 'gtk+'
module on cvs.gnome.org; you'll also need the 'glib' and 'pango'
modules. www.gnome.org has instructions for anonymous CVS access,
somewhere under "Getting GNOME" I think. When building GTK+, use
"autogen.sh" instead of configure, and pass the
--with-gdk-target=linux-fb option to autogen.sh. Also, you'll need the
FreeType library installed before building Pango, check the configure
output from Pango to be sure it finds FreeType.
