java.lang.ClassNotFoundException; offtopic

Hi,
I was wondered if anyone in here would know about this.
i just installed an app on my linux box and i get this error
by trying to execute it:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: myapp
        at.java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:native)
        at.java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:52)

any clues?.
