Window layout

Hi,

I'm looking for a widget with the same layout as a TOP_LEVEL_WINDOW  but

not created with gtk_window_new :

I want to create a TOP_LEVEL_WINDOW, put inside a fixed container and
then
put windows  inside the fixed. I want to be able to manipulate,
iconise,..., this windows.

Is there something like that ?
