[gthumb-list] ram use



Hi!

Thanks all for ghtumb, I have been using it for > 10 years, and I'm very well with it!

I'm noting that the way gthumb manages ram is probably perfectible.

Actually, even in 3.3.2 (same behaviour in 3.2 series), opening up various photos results in eating up memory. 

The consecuence is that if I'm looking many photos, a moment comes when swap space is needed, and eventually the system becomes unusable.

It seems like gthumb keeps in memory all the photos it opens.

I'd expect it released them, at least when the user moves to another directory.

The only way to release memory is to exit gthumb.
