try with `glib-compile-schemas /opt/share/glib-2.0/schemas`
I tried this command on gthumb on two different hard disks, I ran sudo
make install again, and I still get
the same error message when running gthumb.
gsettings-desktop-schemas-3.6.0 and its devel are installed.
