Bugs fixed:
* Resize images: when resizing a single image update the second
dimension if the ratio is fixed. (#662397)
* Faster image loading if the file is not local (#655471)
Sadly I can't confirm this.
Starting gthumb Versions > 2.12.3 from remote is a pain. Almost unusable.
I'm using 2.13.1 from remote without problems
Hm, strange.
I've tested it on two different machines without success.
Startzing gthumb and navigating is no problem, but if I watch
images in fullscreen mode, it takes seconds to jump to the
next/previous image.
did you calculate the time needed to transmit the image over the net?
2-3MB filesize on a 1GBit-LAN is about a couple of milliseconds.
This even doesn't matter because with gthumb-2.12.3 everything
works wonderfull fast (with the same images, on the same net with the
same machines).
