Thanks Paolo for the release. Your tip about using git --reset hard didn't help though.
Instead, I tried to install your released version now. I get the following error:
$ make
make all-recursive
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/roalt/tuvok/src/gthumb_project/gthumb-2.11.1'
Making all in copy-n-paste

Any ideas what goes wrong?
Roalt
no idea sorry, maybe this is a general issue of your system, can you compile other programs without problems?
- Paolo
Yes, I can. I compiled a (non-ext) June 2009 version of gthumb the same day without problems. I'm using a (latest) Ubuntu Karmic 9.10. Anyone else who compiled the latest gthumb on that distro?
Roalt
Yep I have with success.
I installed a fresh virtual Karmic with VirtualBox
On the dev wiki page I put all the packages needed for Karmic.
I got the latest git master and it compiled and executed fine.
I did this last night (I'm in France UTC+1)
I suggest you get a clean git master and run it again
Check your packages too.
autogen.sh will give you the missing packages
It should work :)
