I want to fix some other regression before doing a new release.
The following is the list of features missing in current master branch
and available in 2.10:
[ ] Export as web album
[ ] Convert to another format
[ ] Change date
[ ] Resize image
[ ] Find duplicates
[ ] Create index image: the 2.10 version uses gnome-canvas and must be
ported to cairo
[ ] Write to CD: must be ported to libbrasero
I'm not sure how many of these will be ready for 2.12, some of them
require a lot of work and are not so important.
New features that would be nice to have:
[ ] Upload to flickr
[ ] Upload to facebook
[ ] Upload to other web sites
[ ] Send by email
[ ] Create a compressed archive
version 2.11.2 should have "resize image", "change date" and "convert
to another format". They shouldn't take too much time to implement.

Cool a roadmap ! ;-)
We definitely need 2.11.2 with the missing regression you mention, that
are minimums in my opinion.
(Bug 605914 <https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=605914> about
the resize is the last regression for me to use 2.11.x in "production",
i.e. for my wife to use ;)
This to be able to update the packages in the distros.
I'm thinking of Ubuntu, which I use, which is still stuck with 2.10.11
and the broken import photo/gvfs stuff.
Plus I noticed the package source is still importing from the old svn !
I'm going to write some bug reports here :-)
