Paolo,
I think a 2.11.2 release would be a good idea, mostly because of the
importer fixes since 2.11.1 (the detect-camera-on-insertion didn't
work, and folder-grouping-by-date was incorrectly always on).
I want to fix some other regression before doing a new release.
The following is the list of features missing in current master branch
and available in 2.10:
[ ] Export as web album
[ ] Convert to another format
[ ] Change date
[ ] Resize image
[ ] Find duplicates
[ ] Create index image: the 2.10 version uses gnome-canvas and must be
ported to cairo
[ ] Write to CD: must be ported to libbrasero
I'm not sure how many of these will be ready for 2.12, some of them
require a lot of work and are not so important.
New features that would be nice to have:
[ ] Upload to flickr
[ ] Upload to facebook
[ ] Upload to other web sites
[ ] Send by email
[ ] Create a compressed archive
version 2.11.2 should have "resize image", "change date" and "convert to
another format". They shouldn't take too much time to implement.
