(ok I'm a bit late, but it doesn't matter...)

We're getter closer to a 2.12.x serie which could (really) be part of
our distribution
(check out Ubuntu, if you didn't already, who almost took 2.11.x but had
to downgrade

Other than missing some 2.10.x features, what I can see is that mostly
2.11.x is having many import bug reports
especially when there are videos to import.
