Can chart data series be treated as group

Suppose u have a chart showing 7 days of prices for 5 different shares
(stocks). U now updated each column of share price data as the eighth day
becomes available (we now have 8 days of data for 5 different stocks. To
make the chart show this new situation, do I need to change all 5 data
series separately or is there a means of treating the five columns of data
as one group and just updating this once?
