Rgnumeric

Hi Gnumeric folks,


I would like to know what is the status of the Rgnumeric package:

The web page is old now (it applies to gnumeric-1.0.x), and I don't see
any compiled package for my distrib (ubuntu).

Do you know if the package still runs with gnumeric-1.6.x?
Are they examples of uses of Rgnumeric somewhere?

I would like to experiment the use of R functions within gnumeric.
